In the novel the characters are each running from something non all together but individually. Whether it was something small or big it major character was running. Doyle has already had a rotary lifestyle made for his children to run for office, that has always been his imagine not theres. So his three boys in a way were running towards to his dreams for them but also running to figure appear their own. Tip and Teddy were running behind their father to notice up with his politic ways. But, after they soon realize that beingness in politics was never what they wanted to do for themselves they date that chase alone and start one of their one.
Kenya on the other(a) hand was not running to keep up with the dream.



Kenya was running from her past. Kenya coming from a single parent, lower clique lifestyle was already different then Doyle and his family.
