On revered 13, 1958 Domenico Dolce was born in Sicily, Italy. At the age of vi he worked in his fathers shop who was a sicilian tailor. Dolce mentioned that he was obligated to work there but he enjoyed sewing and drawing, he soon st tricked to make miniature vestments as samples. Dolce studied science at a university but dropped out to attend cheat school. After graduating from the art school Dolce studied fashion design in his hometown than moved to Milan hoping for more opportunites.
On November 14, 1962 Stefano Gabbana was born in Venice, Italy. Gabbana never fantasized about becoming invovled in the fashion industry although he did have an admiration of clothing.



As a child he liked going to Fiorccui which was a clothing store close his home and he would purchase trendy things. Gabbana studied art at a college in Monza, he left onwards receiving a degree and became an advertizing art director. Gabbana also travelled to Milan seeking fame and fortune where he gained some experience in fashion as an atelier.
Dolce and Gabbana met in 1980 while working(a) for the same Milan based fashion designer. They both noticed that they dual-lane many similar ideas and influences. However, Gabanna was from Northern Italy and Dolce was from Southern Italy, the Mediterranean was their prominent influence.
