When conducting my poll, I intentionally chose a matter in which I was truly interested in discovering the opinions of others. I asked two questions to a group of teens and a group of adults involving what they thought about cigarettes vs. hemp. after polling a total of 40 people, I analyzed my results and compared them to my thesis. The results conduct me to approve my expectations. I rationalized that the majority of teens would choose to legalize marijuana. What I did not anticipate was the elevated amount of adults that would agree with the legitimation of marijuana, although a higher majority sided with banning cigarettes or neither. When communicate the first question, “Which do you think is more harmful: Cigarettes or marijuana?” it seemed as though many more adults believed that green goddess one marijuana joint was ten times worse than sess one cigarette, whereas, teens said no such liaison involving that matter. However, it was clearly evident that the superiority of both groups agreed that cigarettes were hence more harmful than marijuana, which I believe to be align as well.
