François-Marie Arouet de Voltaire, also known by the pen name Voltaire was a French historian, writer and famous philosopher and defined the eighteenth deoxycytidine monophosphate movement known as the Enlightenment. He was born in 1694, to a well-to-do public reachicial and his well bred dispirited wife and one of three surviving children. After earlyish schooling Voltaire would become an outspoken and aggressive enemy of both injustice but especially of religious intolerance.

From early in his youth, Voltaire aspired to emulate his idols Molière, Racine, and Corneille and become a playwright, yet Voltaires father strenuously opposed the idea, hoping to install his tidings instead in a position of public authority.

From 1711-1713 Voltaire studied law at Faculté de Droit, one of his fathers wishes. in brief he preferred the company of his libertine friends to his law studies.
