Societys approach to people with disabilities is considered to be negative. at that place is
a general non-acceptance of people with disabilities in society and they are considered to be a minority group. Attitudes towards individuals with a disability run for to be influenced by prejudice, stigma, and negative attitudes. Some believe that adjustment is possible only through comprehensive intervention that includes twain imparting knowledge about disabilities and meeting people with disabilities. I hypothesize that the utilization of subvert integration will multifariousness society’s attitudes toward people with disabilities. I feel that if reverse integration was made mandatory at an elementary, high school, or even a collegiate level the public cognizance of people with disabilities would ultimately change for the better.
Individuals with disabilities comprise approximately 20% of the US population and constitute a significant minority group (Bush, 2001; National Organization on Disability (NOD), 2002).
