As one knows, culture is an enormous part of our lives and troupe that surrounds us. However, the way in which one develops his or her culture kitty vary. Some time culture is inherited by our family members and other times culture layabout be influenced by our friends that surround us. there are numerous ways culture can be expressed and developed. Each individual person is different as is the culture they demonstrate.
For me, my cultural background is strongly influenced by my family. I come from a very strict, yet loving Italian family. Our culture was always influenced by my older relatives such as my Grand puzzle and Grandfather but my Mother and Father likewise influenced us children as well. We have followed certain traditions for many days that shaped our culture and the people we are today. An example of these traditions is that each Sunday at 5pm, we have a huge Italian dinner. My mother hosts this dinner every Sunday and invites over her hearty family. We have my Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, and Grandparents over. Its like a huge reunification every Sunday. Furthermore, yet another tradition is attending church service every Sunday which most Catholic people do. My mother does not force going to Church upon us anymore; however, it used to be a huge part of our traditionalistic culture.



We were mandated to have the tradition baptism, communion, and then confirmation.
My grandparents believe that being Italian is superior to any other nationality. They have instilled that into the younger generations of the family. To them, everything essential be Italian, you must speak Italian, and I think if it were up to them, we would all move back to their hometown in Italy. I can remember clearly when my Grandmother would tell me stories about how she grew up in Italy and how wonderful the world was because of the Italians.
