This document is the writ of execution Guide for Printing Barcodes on Tickets through the SeatAdvisor Ticketing System. The guide is think to help implement standard practices when printing barcodes on tickets for events.

IIBasic Hardware
This section shows the scanners creation used and the technical specifications of them.
Barcodes are being used more and more in ticketing. Barcodes have evolved through the age and with that the hardware used to scan the barcodes must evolve as well.



Currently, with the SeatAdvisor product a Symbol Mobile Computer, model MC-50 is being used. The MC-50 has two types of data capture, 1D one-dimensional and 2D Image Scanners.

Linear Scanning
The MC-50 with an integrated linear scanner can read confused bar code symbologies including the Code 39 and Code 128 (A,B, and C) that SeatAdvisor uses with visceral aiming for easy point-and-shoot operation.
Image Scanning
The MC-50 with an integrated image scanner can read various bar code symbologies including the Code 39 and Code 128 (A,B, and C) that SeatAdvisor uses with Advanced intuitive aiming for easy point-and-shoot operation.
